If you have a motorcycle, I recommend this 12V battery charger G4. The $ 30 G4 will suit your needs (this also works for lawnmower batteries and other smaller batteries). The battery slowly loses its charge from 13.5V to 12.78V, and the charger brings it to 12.79V. Then it will drop to 12.78 and recharge to 12.79, and do so continuously. This charger is great because you can park your car indefinitely in the garage and the charge is preserved. If there is a power failure, the charger will start in the same mode it was turned on, bringing the voltage to that 13.5 volt.)
- It’s sleek, but it’s entirely functional.
- You can charge up to 4 batteries at once.
- The charger is always monitoring the battery, so it’s impossible to overcharge it.
- It won’t recharge a dead battery in a larger vehicle.
